Ask me what I’d want for my last meal and this would probably be my response.
This little Hawaiian mom-and-pop restaurant located in Lubbock, Texas is probably my favorite restaurant on this planet. They’ve got the traditional Loco Moco, Katsu Chicken, and Spam Musubi, but my go-to is the Beef Stir Fry Noodles.
Topped with an huge mound of sweet and tender beef, this platter is the bomb. It can easily be split into two meals (although I usually eat it all), and for only $8, it’s a deal that can’t be beat.
The Spam Musubi and Pork Manapua are two other offerings that I often swap between whenever I go. That plasticy feel of the pillowy-soft bun with the teriyaki pork filling of the Manapua and the savory sauce in pair with the spam and nori are both combinations that can’t be beat.
